Flutterdash is an immersive rhythm game where players must synchronize their actions with the beat. In this game, a compass serves as the central focal point, with notes flying from the center towards the corresponding directions (North, South, East, and West). Your objective is to accurately click in the center of each direction as the notes arrive.

Custom Level Creation

How to create

Flutterdash features a robust custom level creation tool. Players can drag and drop or select music files using the file explorer, and the game will automatically generate a level based on the music. 

Customization

Additionally, players can fine-tune their custom levels by adjusting the BPM, note placements, health regeneration, scoring, and more. A comprehensive HELP.txt file is included to guide players through the customization process in the custom level folder after creating a level.

Level Selection and Progress Tracking

From the level selection menu, players can choose levels to play and view their best scores, attempts, speed, streaks, and grades. These stats are saved and are accessible when logged into an account.

Settings and Customization

The settings menu is divided into four sections:

• General: Change the language and other general preferences.
• Input: Customize keybindings, with options to modify the main compass controls.
• Audio: Adjust the master volume, music volume, and hit sound volume.
• Display: Toggle fullscreen mode, adjust resolution, and enable or disable VSync.

Account System

Flutterdash includes an account system where users can register and log in. Upon logging in, the game saves settings and level stats to the user's account, allowing for seamless access across devices.

How to Download and Run "Flutterdash"

How to Download

1.  Accessing and Downloading the Release:

•  Navigate to the Flutterdash page on itch.io.
•  Locate the Download button  and click on it to begin the download.

2.  How to Extract the ZIP File:

• Once downloaded, locate the "Flutterdash.rar" file in your Downloads folder or the directory you chose.
• To extract its contents, you'll need a file extraction tool. You can use one of the following:
  • WinRAR
  • 7-Zip
  • Windows 11 built-in unzipper (Right-click on the ZIP file and select "Extract to Flutterdash")

3.  How to Run the Application:

• After extracting, navigate to the extracted folder.
• Find the "Flutterdash.exe" file.
• To launch the application, double-click on "Flutterdash.exe". 
• If that doesn't work, right-click on the file and select "Open".
